I’m passionate about this work because I have seen how much therapy can help people to feel better and build meaningful change. I also understand that starting therapy can feel both relieving and a little intimidating. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can show up as your authentic self. Together, we’ll have honest conversations (with a touch of humor) and move towards your goals.
People are complex, that’s what makes us interesting! There’s rarely a one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to therapy. I approach each person as unique, getting to know your own experiences, personality, and story. I’ve made it a priority to keep learning and growing as a therapist in order to better address my client’s complex identities. I regularly pursue advanced training and continuing education, particularly around evidence-based practices.
Together, we can explore what helps you move toward greater clarity, balance, and connection in your life. My experience and training include approaches that address:
- Trauma and PTSD
- Anxiety and OCD
- Neurodiversity (including ADHD and Autism Spectrum)
- Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders
- Chronic and complex illness (including POTS and EDS)
- Family and relationship dynamics
- Grief and loss
- Performance psychology for school, career, and sports
Certifications and Advanced Trainings:
- EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
- Attachment Focused EMDR
- Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
- ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP)
- Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Motivational Interviewing
I like to use therapy techniques that are well researched and proven to help people feel better. Effective therapy is not one size fits all, and there are many ways to achieve your therapy goals. We will work together to find an approach that resonates with you, supports your values, and improves your life.
